Pasta with Peas

Pasta with Peas.
I absolutely love peas and this is a simple way to change up your tomato sauce and make a delicious pasta and peas dinner.
You will need
1-18 ounce container of my Mama Mancini sauce or your home made sauce.
1/2-cup chopped onions
2- garlic cloves sliced
1-tbs of extra virgin olive oil
2- cups of frozen peas, thawed.
Your favorite pasta.
In a 13" skillet heat the olive oil then sauté the onions and garlic for 2 minutes until the onions are translucent and the garlic is golden. Add your sauce and bring this to a slow boil. Now add the peas and continue to simmer for 5 more minutes. Cook your pasta 2 minutes short of the recommended time, strain and add the pasta to the sauce. Continue cooking the pasta in the sauce until it is done. Serve with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and some grated pecorino Romano cheese. I love this sauce and it always brings back memories of my Grandmother taking something she made yesterday and turning it into something new, today.
